What You’ll Do:
- Clinical Risk Management: Implement and maintain a robust risk management system, ensuring the safety of our software solutions in healthcare settings
- Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Ensure our products align with key regulatory standards, including DCB 0129 and ISO27001
- Incident Management: Lead root cause analyses, apply corrective actions, and work towards reducing high-severity incidents
- Collaboration with Product & Engineering Teams: Embed clinical safety into product development, conduct pre-launch safety reviews, and analyse real-world usage data to drive improvements
- Stakeholder Engagement & Training: Educate teams on clinical safety best practices, liaise with regulatory bodies, and work with healthcare organisations to enhance patient safety
- Caldicott Guardian Responsibilities: Uphold data protection and patient confidentiality standards within the organisation
- Professional Clinical Registration: Active registration with NMC, GMC, GPhC, HCPC, or equivalent body
- Clinical Expertise in Medicines Management: Experience working with care homes, pharmacies, CCGs, and health authorities
- Risk Management Skills: Proven ability to identify and manage clinical hazards, oversee safety case production, and maintain hazard logs
- Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Experience working in a CQC-regulated environment and applying clinical safety regulations in digital health
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong track record of working within multidisciplinary teams, leading on safety initiatives, and driving digital transformation
- Training & Communication: Ability to educate teams on safety best practices and engage with key stakeholders at all levels
- A base salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience
